Did i Miss Something?

Today we went out for a treat in the afternoon,that place is normally colorful..today when we were coming back after lunch ther were 6-7 gals(mostly from nearby college) who accompined us while we(4-5) ppl were coming down... with lift stopping a level above where we were supposed to getdown i reacted saying close the door as i dint know the gals were getting ready to move out... one of my firend called my name to alret me that those gals were getting down at the same time a gal from the group called out my name again.. i dint react and she walked off..should i have reacted? did i miss something there *-)

that was pongal celebration at out office and i was identified to performe a small dance as a part of the skit which we had put up to display the tradions. it was very tiering practice for 10 days starting 1st of jan 2008 and ended after 10 continous days of practice.. here you can see the closing part of the dance...

Hindi...still a unfinished chapter in my book

it was some years even i could say decades ago i used to read some hindi letters and lost track as i started growing up and focus more on sports and studies and as ususal teenage romance and so on...
when i a realised that i am out of college and need to go out and get some job the only option that came to my mind was chennai and hopes payed off and i got through a company. IT was the palce where i wanted to land and it worked the same way
but.....when i met ppl outside my place the mode of communication was mostly the national language hindi.. i managed to learn couple of words soon and those were the words which put a start to my learning curve. i still use those words but now adays in the right place and in right sense..(wah kya badth hai.. and kana kaliya) these were the words i was refering to.
i met many friends and most used to think that i know hindi and start right away in hindi but i used to smile to most of the things which they say as i dont know what to react rather couldnt understand what is being communicated.
Now i am out of a place where my mother tounge will be termed as NOT UNDERSTOOD... now only option is to start learning hindi or the local language.. its actually very tough for me to speak in other language when iam in consious..
started learning both hindi and local language with the help of friends and movies.. strategy used say some dialogue in english and get the exact representation in hindi and kananda that way and also delibrately speaking to ppl in hindi and kananda i tried to increase my knowledge..

it was a very tough ride for ppl who heard me beacuse i have done hundreds of mistakes and it was a pleasure ride for me as i was always happy adding one more word to my known list.

now i stand here to understand and manage in hindi and kannada(still a long way to go for kannada) ...
with long long way to go i still have confidence i would one day understand even the songs which ia m not able to and be confident and speak in any language even when i am consious.

My fellow companion

every day i am accompnied with someone who doesnt speak to me, but still comes with me.He waits till i get ready with my lazy schdule to come with me to office to just wait for me in the gate untill i come back with a tiering smile to get back home....it doesnt matter how hot cold it is he will just be ready in a sec when i am there to go somewhere....thought he cant eat something but drinks a lot!!! always had some problem of getting stuck with a reserved mode insted of going along with every one to every place with a FULL Josh :)...he is quite old compared to other friends whom he meet daily and some newbies that daily come to office with a sparkling smile but still he is determined enough to comepte with those as he always sounds like a new bie :D:D:Dhe had run for for more than 13 thousand KM and more still he had not lost a bit of weight!!!!!yeah my bike and my lovely bike is always with me :):)
